Finaly we had our final Transnational Partner meeting via Zoom today.

We dicuss the intellectual outcomes of IO1, IO2 as well as IO3. heute fand eine Informationsveranstaltung zum Projekt FBL an der Universität Paderborn statt.

Hierbei wurden Einblicke in das Projekt gegeben, die Zielsetzungen diskutiert, die entwickelten Module präsentiert und Verbesserungsvorschläge aufgenommen.

Gleichzeitig wurde in diesem Rahmen auch die Meinungsumfrage für das Policy Paper (IO3) gestartet.

an information event about the FBL project took place at the University of Paderborn, today.

Insights into the project were given, the objectives discussed, the developed modules presented and suggestions for improvement included.

At the same time, the opinion survey for the Policy Paper (IO3) was started in this context.

Dear interested readers,

first of all a late, but warm “happy new year”! We hope you had a great, successful start in 2022.

During the holidays between the years 2021 and 2022, we developed or better, finished the learning modules of IO2. In total we created six modules to explain the needs of entrepreneurship and starting a business.

The titles of the modules are as follows:

• Module 1: Finding the right Idea and shaping it into an Opportunity
  • Understand the basics of planning the new business idea, how to plan and think critically (realistically)
• Module 2: Forms of Entrepreneurships
• Module 3: Realistic Planning and Business Models
  • Planning the business idea – developing a BUSINESS PLAN or creating a BUSINESS CANVAS, choosing the right BUSINESS MODEL
• Module 4: Basics of Marketing and Branding
  • Basics of MARKETING and BRANDING (incl. name of the business idea)
• Module 5: Basics of Financing Planning
• Module 6: Common Mistakes and learning from failures
  • Common MISTAKES that can be avoided already in the start.

Additional to the learning modules the consortium created mentoring and coaching modules for the Start- up entrepreneurs. To demonstrate the working process of the partners, the consortium used the working platform miro, to brainstorm ideas, contents and solutions for the modules. In the next days, we will spread the links of the coaching and mentoring links here, too.

Form the screenshot you see, that there is a huge working process according to mentoring and coaching of Family Business Library. The main contents which should be part of the modules deals with

• the idea of mentoring
• the idea of coaching
  • the similarities and differences)
• Motivation of mentees and the mentors
  • Constructive, positive feedback structures and ideas
• What is entrepreneur?
  • Overview and hints to the modules 1 to 6

At least, we are working on the Intellectual Outcome 3 – the Family Business Library Policy Paper. One main part of the paper will be to explain improvements for future learning platforms for start up entrepreneurs. Family Business Library – FBL – Erasmus+ Project | Facebook

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the first partner meeting of the Family Business Library Project takes place Online on the 20th of November 2020.
The partner meet on ZOOM and discuss the project idea and aims as well as different approaches to entrepreneurship education in Europe. The combination of entrepreneurship education with libraries which can easily address people is a fruitful approach and the partners discuss how to adress this approach in a high quality way. The partners agree on the tasks within the intellectual outputs of the project and will focus the first steps to do.

The Family Business Library project is an ERASMUS+ project.
It is a KA204 – Strategic partnership for adult education.
Our project started on the 1st of September 2020.
